Robert David Holloway

Mr. Holloway was a native of Bulloch county living in Statesboro for most of his life, until he moved to Portal 15 years ago. He attended Statesboro High School and was a member of the Long Branch Church of God in Garfield. He worked many years as a clerk in various convenience stores in the Statesboro area before becoming disabled. David was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Mildred Brown Holloway and his sister, Maryann Hollingsworth.

David is survived by his wife, Elizabeth S. Holloway of Portal; daughter, Senaida Lynn Holloway of Portal; sons, David A. Holloway of Portal, Jason Holloway of Portal; Andres (J.R.) Holloway of Rincon and Tony Holloway and his fiancé, Jace Moore of Metter; sisters, Sheryl Swint and her husband, Wayne of Stilson and Glenda Coursey of Statesboro; brothers, Mickey Holloway of Brooklet; Claude Holloway, Jr. and his wife, Wanda of Statesboro and Jerry Holloway and his wife, Alice of Brunswick; one grandchild, Theodore Holloway; many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 5:00 to 7:00 PM Sunday, December 27, 2015 in Hodges-Moore Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held 3:30 PM Monday, December 28, 2015 in the Chapel of Hodges-Moore Funeral Home with Reverend Ronnie Collins officiating.

Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
