Terry, you were a beautiful daughter, wife, mother and friend and a great model for me to imitate! I’m so grateful that we reconnected during these last days of your life on earth. I cherish the poem that you shared with me and used it to inspire a neighbor who needed inspiration after the death of her beloved husband. I also cherish the perspective that you shared with me regarding the inevitable troubles that arise in marriages but I also know how you longed to be with Dave, the man that you loved with your whole heart. Your legacy lives on in your beautiful family. I’m thinking beautiful thoughts of you as I contemplate our time together in eternity.

Theresa (Mema) was a lovely, caring woman.  We only knew her for a short time, but she made you feel like part of the family right away. She  will be missed greatly.❤️

With a beautiful smile, she welcomed us to the neighborhood and told us to call her Meemaw. With funny stories and fashionable earrings, she spread joy at every gathering. She loved to share stories about her family and she reminded us that family is what matters most. Every story ended with a variation of the same message…because of her family, she was the luckiest person on earth.

She was the very best neighbor and mema there ever was! She was the queen of Thursday night pasta and accessorizing her outfits. This is a great loss, but she left behind a wonderful tribe of children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren who are making the world an amazing place.  Mema you will be so missed, but I am happy you can hold hands with your Davey again!
