With regret we would like to announce his passing on March 11, 2023. He was born in Red Hook Brooklyn, resided in Castleton Corners.
He is predeceased by his wife Barbara McKay in 2011.
Predeceased by his parents Walter and Ellen Clyne, brothers Walter, George, Thomas and James Clyne.
He is survived by 6 children; Theresa Tobin(Tom deceased), Barbara Doty( Tom), Joan Young (Fred), Kenneth Clyne, Gerard Clyne (Roberta), John Clyne (Patricia).
Also survived by 14 grandchildren, Sean Tobin (Nicole), Ellen DePinto(Nick), Stephen Doty(Aggie), Thomas Doty(Josie), Brian Doty, David Young(Nicole), Theresa Falconer(Tom), Kathleen Hepworth(Tim), Timothy Clyne(Sheryl), Briana Clyne, Patrick Clyne, Jason Murphy(Lucia), Lauren Murphy, Jessica Clyne.
Also survived by 18 Great grandchildren, Nicolas, Daniel, Thomas, Jimmy, Stephen, Kaitlyn, Emma, Sophia, Ava, Adrianna, Ryan, Casey, Timothy, Dylan, Adelyn, Madison, Sophia, Jackson.
Ken (Pop) as he was affectionally known by all, was a veteran of the US Navy and an avid member of the VFW Post 7172. He worked as a Traffic Manager for Cunard Lines and YSL Shipping Lines. He was a member of St Rita’s Parish where he was very involved in their sports programs and a church usher. He was a member of the South Shore Swim Club. He was an avid sports fan enjoying his New York teams. He enjoyed his trips to Atlantic City. He prepared for his favorite holiday, Christmas all year long. Pop was most happy when he was surrounded by his family, always looking forward to his next barbecue. He was loved by all who came in contact with him.
