John honorably served in the U.S. Navy, After being discharged, he transitioned to the financial industry, where he worked many different jobs around the world until 2008. Later, he joined the International Longshoreman's Association, Local 920, and was also proud to have served in the NY Guard, where he continued to impact his community and colleagues positively.
John was predeceased by his father, Joe.
He is survived by his mother, Irene; his children, Jaclyn, John, and Jonathan; his grandchildren, Christiana, Gia, James, and John; his sister, Rhonda and his loving girlfriend, Daisy.
John's life was marked by his unwavering love for his family and his commitment to his country.
The viewing will be held on Wednesday, July 10th, from 4:00 PM to 8:30 PM at Casey McCallum Rice South Shore Funeral Home, located at 30 Nelson Ave, Staten Island, NY 10308.
