James Joseph Barry

He is survived by his wife, Veronica, his children, Deborah, Donna, Joseph and his wife Shannon, Nicole and her husband Nicholas, his grandchildren, Tabatha, James, Connor and his wife Kristen, Victoria, James Joseph, Liam, Emma, Logan, Scarlett, Nicholas, and his great grandchildren, Moses, Eli, Izaiah, Aria, Malanie, and Bennett. He is also survived by his sister, Dorothy, nieces, and nephews.

James was an avid collector of antiques ranging from records to coins. He loved to travel and taking road trips all over the United States. James was an incredible carpenter and was always building furniture and fixing things around the house.

Known to his friends as “Jim”, he was always there to lend a helping hand. He was very intellectual and would be the one everyone came to for advice. We will miss his sense of humor and his wit, always delivering a classic “one liner”.

We will forever cherish every memory we have of him. We will miss him dearly as our family will carry on his legacy. Rest in peace.

A visitation for James will be held Friday, November 22, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Casey Funeral Home, 350 Slosson Ave, Staten Island, NY 10314.
