Frank was a loving father of 3 and grandfather of 5. He was a hard worker and strong provider
for his family. Frank took great pride in his work ethic but nothing gave him more pride and
happiness than his grandchildren. He attended birthdays, graduations, went apple picking,
enjoyed day trips to Peddler’s Village and all holidays with his grandchildren and loved every
moment spent with Pop.
Frank worked for Equitable Life Insurance as a computer operator for 42 years, drove taxis
for Sam’s Cabs, was an attendant at Casey Funeral Home, and even owned a hot dog truck. He
drove limousines for proms and special events, including driving Dick Clark on New Years Eve
for many years.
Frank was a veteran of the United States Air National Guard and took his service for the
country seriously, with an immense sense of pride.
Frank enjoyed reading the newspaper, watching jeopardy and reading about the history of
Staten Island. He loved to meet with friends and family and was a member of many charitable
organizations. He was an avid fan of the Yankees, having played baseball in his youth.
Frank is predeceased by his wife, Mary (2008) and survived by his 3 children, 5
grandchildren, his brother and sister, numerous nieces and nephews and his sister in law.
