Dorothy Walsh, 90, a life long resident of Stapleton passed away from natural causes. Mrs. Walsh, also known as Sissy to family and friends attended McKee High School and Immaculate Concpetion church. She was an active member of Cassidy Cole Senior Center for over 20 years. While attending she put together talent shows, mock weddings and did decorating for various occasions and holidays. Additionally she enjoyed a myriad of trips with the center with her friends to play bingo as well as the slot machines in AC. On any given weekend you could find her out galavanting with her best friend Gloria, a friendship that lasted nearly 80 years!
Mrs. Walsh lost her husband, Tom, of 46 years in 1999. She also lost her son, Tommy, in 1986. Mrs. Walsh is survived by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
