Diane Casamassima

Diane Casamassima 87, of Great Kills, Staten Island passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday December 11, 2024 surrounded by her family and loved ones. Born in Brooklyn NY Diane graduated from Lincoln High School in 1954 and went on to graduate from the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC where she received a degree in fashion design and was a talented artist.

She married in 1958 and later returned to work for the NY Telephone Company retiring in 1991.

In 1995 she began working at Carmel Richmond Nursing home until 2008 when she cared for her mom until 2013 when she passed away at 100 years old.

Diane was an active church goer and parishioner of St. Clare Roman Catholic Church visiting the chapel to pray daily. She will be remembered for her strong faith, kindness and selflessness. She always put others first. She was very devoted to her family.

Throughout her life Diane touched the lives of many people with her kindness, generosity and maintained her loyalty to her friends and family.

Diane is predeceased by her beloved husband Carlo Casamassima, her son Carl Casamassima and her brother Ralph DelliPaoli.

Diane will forever be remembered by her Brothers Edward Delli Paoli (Angela) and Richard Delli Paoli (Sally). Her daughters Corinne Venturino (Anthony) Mary Ellen Pannone (Christopher) and her daughter in law Kathy Casamassima. Her cherished grandchildren Chrissy (John) Anthony (Marissa) Joseph, Michael (Amber) Douglas (Marissa) Christopher, John Carlo, and Kimberly (Stephen) and her twelve great grand children.
