Daniel Massey Jr.

Daniel Massey, 51, passed away on Wednesday February 23, 2022. He is survived by his loving wife, Denise; children Anthony, Shannon, and Emily; daughter- in- law Sara; granddaughter Emma; Mother Isabel, and many loving family members and friends.

Daniel was born November 14, 1970 and raised in Staten Island, NY. He received his Bachelor's degree from Marist College. A retired Sergeant Daniel, served the NYPD for 20 years.

Known as Danny, in his spare time, he enjoyed golfing, and fishing. Devoted family man, Danny loved watching his children do what they love; play soccer, play baseball, and dance. He greatly enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Daniel’s passing was related to his rescue/recovery work at the World Trade Center following the 9/11 terrorist attack at the World Trade Center in 2001.

Danny has touched the lives of so many in a special way and will forever be missed.

Viewing will be held at Harmon Funeral Home, 571 Forest Ave, Staten Island, NY 10310, on Monday, February 28th from 2-4pm and 6-9pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Danny’s name to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation
