Vicky (Chastain) Deese

Vicky Renee (Chastain) Deese, 72, of Gastonia passed away peacefully on Wednesday January 27, 2021. Vicky is the daughter of the late Lillian Lorene (Whitworth) and James Paul Chastain. She was a wonderful daughter, wife, mother and grandmother. She worked with her sister helping to prepare taxes for others. She will be dearly missed by many.

Vicky is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Deese, her parents and a brother, James Ronald Chastain.

Left to cherish their memories of her are her sons, John Michael Hilton and Gregory Mark Massey. Missing their grandmother are Kaleigh Massey, Shynna Massey, Elizabeth Hilton, Hayden Hilton and Nathaniel Hilton. Also surviving Vicky is her sister Gail McDonald and her husband Johnnie Bryan.

A memorial service honoring the life of Vicky will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday February 28, 2021 at Carothers Funeral Home Chapel, 412 South Main Street, Stanley.
