Troy Christopher Dills

These were words that Troy Christopher Dills, 45, lived by. Troy unexpectedly passed away at home on Friday May 6, 2016. He will be remembered by his family and friends as a man who loved computers and electronics. Troy was a Panthers Football and Tar Heel Basketball fan. He loved M & M’s and sugar-free Hawaiian Punch. Troy was also a Star Trek and Sci-Fi fan. He was a committed family man who loved his children and granddaughter. Troy would like most to be remembered as a man who loved the Lord.

Troy was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Dills.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 25 years, Trina Dills; his son Jordan Dills and daughter Sarah Dills; mother Sharon Dills; mother-in-law Carla Angel; sister, Ashley and husband Kevin Robinson of Alexis; his nephews, Shea and Chase Robinson and his beloved granddaughter Claire Dills.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday May11, 2016 at Carothers Funeral Home, 412 South Main Street, Stanley, North Carolina.

A Celebration of Troy’s life will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday May 12, 2016 at Core Church, 707 Westland Farm Road, Mount Holly, North Carolina.

Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 2858 NC-150 Lincolnton, North Carolina.
