Lois Gantt Hamilton

Lois was a talented Seamstress and Tailor throughout her life. She was a life-long and dedicated member of the Revival Tabernacle in Stanley. Lois was an avid reader, enjoying all of Perry Mason novels, and studied her Bible every single day. She spent her past time crocheting, needlepoint, and embroidering.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in passing by her husband Robert Hamilton; children, Bobby Lee Hamilton, Shirley Delores Ramsey, and Robert Hamilton, Jr.

She is survived by her children, Ronnie Hamilton, Kaye Barber, Doris Arrowood, and Jeannie Horton; 11 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and 14 great great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Carothers Funeral Home Stanley with a funeral service to begin at 1:00 pm. Burial to follow at Hillcrest Memory Gardens.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Gaston Hospice, 258 E Garrison Blvd., Gastonia, NC 28054.
