Debbie was a funny, kind and gentle woman of God. She loved to spend hours watching birds and squirrels play in her yard. She especially loved her two fur babies Missy (Moo Moo) and Bandit.
Debbie was born in Baltimore Maryland and was the daughter of the late Freda and Ralph Cross.
She was preceded in death by her parents Ralph Cross and Freda Cross as well as her beloved grandson Adrian Lamar Craig.
Debbie leaves behind to cherish her memory: Her husband Tony Weathers, Sons Shannon Craig (Tammy) and Jamie Craig., Brother Scott Cross (Linda), Sisters; Diana Turner (Phil) and Kellie Baucom., Stepsons Donovan Weathers (Kathy), Josh Weathers (Angie)., Stepdaughter Anna Wiles (Robert). Grandchildren; Aubrey Craig (Aaron), Aryn Craig, Brook Brooks, Ashley Hayes, Kayla Hanna, Lynsie Weathers, Emily Weathers, Josie Wiles, Jessie Wiles; Great Grandchildren: Emily Brooks, Nicholas Brooks, Remi Hayes, Carver Hayes and Leah Hayes
The Family will receive friends Sunday, January 7 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at Carothers Funeral Home, 412 South Main Street in Stanley, NC. Interment will follow immediately afterward at Alexis Baptist Church. Reverend Eric Chaney will officiate.
The family would like to express their deepest heartfelt gratitude to Carolina Caring Hospice and Palliative Care for their gentle care and kindness. We will treasure forever the friendships made with Nurses and staff who helped us carry Debbie on her journey to be with her savior Jesus Christ.
