Timothy Alan Huff, raised in Larchmont, NY, but a long-time resident of Armonk, NY and Stamford, CT, passed away on August 18, 2020. He was 78 years old.
Tim was born on November 9, 1941 in Evanston, Illinois. He was the son of the late Neal Huff and Margaret (Mulhall) Huff. He graduated from Mamaroneck High School and Fairfield University. Tim was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps upon graduating from Fairfield. He served two Tours of Duty in Vietnam from 1963 to 1967. He was wounded and honorably discharged as a Captain after receiving the Bronze Star and Purple Heart. He then had a longstanding career at IBM, including an assignment in Copenhagen, Denmark. He was an active member of the Marine Corps League Lock City Detachment of Stamford, CT.
He is survived by his wife Ann, his brothers Stephen (wife Ursula) and Kent, his children Maureen, Timothy Jr. (wife Sarah) and Kathleen, and his five grandchildren Olivia, Emily, Lucy, Abinet and Hanna.
