Victor Lyle Austin

Victor Lyle Austin, 72, of Stafford County passed away Friday, Feb. 15, 2013, at his home, with his family by his side. Victor was born on Feb. 7, 1941, in Vermont to Victor and Eunice (Taylor) Austin. Victor is a veteran of the U.S. Army and a carpenter by trade, a skill which he passed to all of his children. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Neil Albert Austin, and two grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife, Rita; two sons, Kevin Austin (Kelli) and Shawn Austin (Brie); two daughters, Karen Basye (Gary) and Sheri Wallace (Ricky); and nine grandchildren; Crystal, Kevin Jr., Christopher, Jessica, Nicole, Ricky Jr., David, Michael and Cathlynn. Services will be private and are handled under the direction of Mullins & Thompson Funeral Services Stafford Chapel.
