He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Jean; son Vernon Ray Swink Sr.; daughter Linda Darlene Swink; and eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Stuart Jennings Swink Jr.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at Victory Baptist Church from 6-8:00 pm. A funeral service will be held at the church on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow in Stafford Memorial Park.
