Robert E. Vanover

Robert E. Vanover, Sr., age 69, of Stafford, Virginia passed away Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Mary Washington Hospital. He was born on May 5, 1950 in Hazard County, Kentucky, the son of the late Henry and Sylvania (Feltner) Vanover. He was a retired carpenter and mechanic. He enjoyed working on cars. He loved to go to Turkey shoots. He was preceded in death by his wife, Etta Sue Darlene Vanover. Survivors include his one son, Robert E. Vanover, Jr of Stafford, VA; two daughter, Tracey Robinson and husband David of Stafford, VA, Suzan Haletsky and husband Jeff of Lynchburg, VA; four brothers, James Vanover of Tennessee, Bert Vanover of Manassas, VA, Jerry Vanover of Manassas, VA, VA, Billy Vanover of Madison, VA; two sisters, Mary Cole and Sue Bone both of Tennessee; three grandchildren, Amber, Erica and Christopher Robinson. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00pm Sunday, December 1, 2019 at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, 186 Shelton Shop Road, Stafford, VA where funeral services will be held at 11:00am Monday, December 2, 2019. Interment will follow at Stafford Memorial Park, Stafford, VA.
