Jacob Tyler Slaton

Jacob Tyler Slaton, age 30, passed away Thursday, May 18, 2023 unexpectedly from a heart attack. Jacob was born in Fairfax, Virginia to Harold Edward and Joann (Ripper) Slaton. He was a 2010 graduate of Mountain View High School in Stafford, Virginia. Jacob had a true passion for chorus. He was part of the men’s and mixed chorus, madrigals and jazz choir. As a high school freshman, Jacob was selected to participate in the Candlelight Processional at the Epcot Center in Disney World. This is when his true love for Disney began! In 2019 Jacob moved to Colbleskill, NY to unite with his soul mate and life partner, Clint Suits. Jacob lived his life to the fullest. He had countless friends and loved to have fun! From going to Disney World and the beach at the drop of a hat, to always making time for family and friends. Jacob is survived by his loving parents; his brothers, Edward and Cody Slaton; his life partner, Clint Suits; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Jacob was preceded in death by his grandparents, Edward and Pua Ripper and Harold Clifton Slaton. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude for all the love, support and prayers during this time.
