I remember all those evenings having a cocktail in the screened porch.  Lots of laughs and great stories.  Chuck was a dear friend to myself and my 3 children.  We all loved & admired our dear neighbor Chuck!  You are missed so much already.

I was so sad to hear about Chuck!  I knew Chuck back in the late 70's and still have many awesome photos and memories tucked away.  The tribute video was absolutely beautiful.  I am so sorry for your loss.

I worked at the FBI for a few years and met Chuck when he worked out in the gym each and every morning. I remember Chuck as an outgoing, friendly, encouraging, supportive, kind, sincere, funny, and all-around wonderful person (and I loved that he was so angry Irsay packed up and moved the Colts from Baltimore in the middle of the night in 1983 - love that type of sports dedication). I remember attending a few of his softball games during those years (I think he was on 4 or 5 teams at the time) and each at bat usually ended up in a homerun. Not one of those inside-the-park or barely-clear-the-wall homeruns. These were glorious high-arcing rainbow shots that left no doubt once ball connected with the bat. I do not know if there is a record for homeruns in softball leagues, but if there is such a standard I can imagine Chuck may top that list. I am so very sad to learn of his passing. My memories of Chuck are fond and deep and I feel blessed to have known him. Eternal rest grant unto Chuck, O, Lord, and let the perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen. And may his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace. Amen. May God bless Chuck and may God bless his family and friends. Chuck was my boss at the FBI. I can still remember my very first conversation with him. He was no nonsense, direct and so likable that I knew good times were to follow. I was right. Even when I was no longer his employee, I unashamedly told people how much I loved him, and I would say, “If Chuck Taylor walked in here right now and told me to go through that wall, I’d ask someone to hold my watch and I’d start rolling up my sleeves.”

Chuck was a great guy that meant a great deal to me. My heart and my prayers go out to his wonderful family at this time. 

Chuck and I were room mates when he first started at the FBI, and we played football on a minor league team many years ago. Chuck was a great person, with a huge heart, and never failed to make all of us laugh! RIP my friend, you will be missed.

Chuck was a true professional.  I was Blessed to have worked with him at Quantico.

We have know Chuck and the Taylor family since we moved to Stafford.  We will always remember the times we shared with him and wish peace for Chuck and his family.  He was loved and will always be remembered.

Thank you for taking me in as one of your own when I was a lost, troubled teen. You molded me into the person I am today. You taught me so much about life, you had faith in me, and you never gave up on me. You always made me feel like I was part of the family. Your words of wisdom will never be forgotten. I’ll also never forget the time you made all of Outback Steakhouse sing happy birthday to me when I asked you not to. :) 
I could never thank you enough for what you’ve done for me.  I will hold onto all of our memories forever.

Dear Taylor family,       
Gee, so much to say, write and even how to say it but I will keep it short. 
Growing up in the Taylor house was a treat for me. Felt so welcomed and loved just like I was one of there own. Soon as I walked in, heard here’s Eddie. Mom would yell and leave him alone. Didn’t bother me but felt like I belonged there.
Anyhow I can go on but one day my own mom told me I could have a party. So I did what any teenager did. Invite a few friends over. Just ask Timmy (few)? Well the party really got out of hand and I believe 1/2 Carroll County was there. Good thing Chuck was there and the 2 other brothers (Kendall and Rachel) to keep things semi orderly. After that my mom praised Chuck every second she could. Some days when I would tell my mom that Timmy was come over to pick me she would say is Chuck come over also.. Sorry Tim never told you that. 
Anyway, Chuck touched my life along with his own family. Although  we kind of moved away and separated by miles, there is not a day that goes by not thinking of all those good memories.

Thank you Taylor family for letting me be part of your lives.

You made such a great impact is this world.  You have many friends that will miss you and will never forget you.  My fondest memory of you is when you traveled 318 miles to the annual Columbus Softball tournament got out of your car went straight to home plate and batted a home run without even warming-up. I was a student of Chuck’s at Northern Virginia Community College.  Spent two years taking courses with him while I served in the Coast Guard.  He was a good man and really helped me out going back to college in my 40s.  It was always great listening to his stories and learning from him.   He will be missed.

John and Chuck were coworkers at the FBI. Some of the greatest memories we had while living in Virginia, involved our friend — Chuck Taylor.  Chuck helped play “Cupid” getting the two of us together back in 1981.  With Chuck, we were always laughing. He always had a smile and was there to help anyone he could. I met Chuck in 1981 when we both worked at the FBI. We were also on the same basketball team through work. Chuck was a super person and respectful of all. He had an infectious smile and laugh. Our deepest sympathies and condolences to all of you on the passing of Big Chuck.  Chuck Taylor was the best of the best, bar none.  I first met Chuck during my FBI HQ days when 1st assigned there circa 1985.  Chuck joined our FBIHQ Slugs softball team.  Once Chuck stepped onto the pitch we immediately placed him in the #4 slot in the batting order.  Chuck never relinquished the #4 hole and we all were very happy about that.  Never saw a batter pulverize a pitch like Chuck did.  Holy Cow and then some!!

Chuck aka CT was a great friend.  He had a killer smile and dripped sincerity from every pore in his body.  God has taken him from all of us way too early.  May Chuck be among the saints today and be in eternal happiness with the Big Guy upstairs in Paradise.
  Be there for each other in this most difficult of times.  May God bless Chuck and all of you.
