Bobby D Dotson Sr. 81 passed away at his home in Fredericksburg on April 6, 2017. Born in Clintwood VA he was the son of Olen L and Allene R Dotson. Preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers Donald, Carroll and Doyle and 1 sister Betty; 2 sons Tony and Roger and the love of his life Mary L Dotson.
He is survived by a sister Anita Briggs of NC. He is also survived by 2 daughters Margaret A Plaugher of Fredericksburg, Cindy D Lesko of Ruther Glen; 2 sons Bobby D Dotson Jr of Stafford and Jerry W Dotson of Spotsylvania; 14 Grandchildren; 19 Great Grandchildren and host of nieces and nephews and several additional family members.
Bobby was a DEVOTED family man and was loved by many and will be GREATLY missed by all that knew him.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 Tuesday April 11 and Funeral Service will be at 11AM on Wednesday April 12 at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Home located at 186 Shelton Shop Rd Stafford, VA 22556. Services will be officiated by Pastor Mike Reid. Interment to follow at Stafford Memorial Gardens.
