Cynthia (Cindy) Ann Krejci Kral, 74, died in Missouri City, TX on July 15, 2021. Cindy was born in Hallettsville, TX on November 16, 1946 to Victor and Elenora Krejci and grew up in Moulton, TX. As the daughter of a well-loved Coach, she was very involved in school extracurricular activities including basketball, tennis, band majorette, feature twirler and more. Cindy married Jim Kral on October 30,1965 shortly after graduation. Throughout their marriage, Cindy served as a full time mom as well as worked for Alief Independent School District from which she retired as a benefits manager and began full time Grammy life. Her greatest legacy was her love for her husband and three children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. If Cindy was not cooking or entertaining, she was supporting her grandchildren and great-grandchildren in their many activities and events as their greatest cheerleader. Cindy and her late husband Jim were devout Catholics and had an infectious faith that was seen in their love for one another, the Eucharist and their devotion to Mary. Cindy was often known for leading the St. Luke’s weekly prayer group meetings as host extraordinaire. Cindy was a great teacher of the faith as she led church bible studies, facilitated Rite of Christian Initiation of Adult Classes and participated in coordination and organization of numerous women’s retreats. Sharing the faith was one of the greatest gifts Cindy gave to each and everyone she met along with her loving smile, wise counsel and charitable hospitality.
Cindy is survived by three children, Kevin Kral and wife Charisse Kral, Denae Hebert and husband Allen Hebert, Rebecca Bogard and husband Adam Bogard, grandchildren, Jessica Peters and husband Zach Peters, Rachel Hebert, Ellen Lively and husband Jarrod Lively, Casey Kral, Victoria Valdez and husband Ben Valdez, Robert Hebert, Peter Hebert, Madeline Bogard, Therese Hebert, Olivia Bogard, Henry Hebert, James Hebert, Joseph Hebert, and great grandchildren, Leayden Kral, Axyl Peters, and baby Valdez. She is preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Elenora Krejci and beloved husband Jim Kral.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 5 from 6:00-8:00pm at St. Laurence Catholic Church, with a rosary recital at 6:30pm. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, August 6 at 10am at St. Laurence Catholic Church with a reception to follow. Graveside services will be held later that day in Shriner, Texas at St. Cyril of Methodius Catholic Cemetery.
