CJ was born July 5, 1944 in Pittsburg, Kansas to Chester and Virginia Longan Crosetto. He attended school in Altamont and Coffeyville, Kansas, and obtained his bachelors degree in accounting at Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kansas.
On December 17, 1966, CJ married Vicki Lea Rogers in Pittsburg, Kansas. Upon graduating college, he enlisted in the Army and served four years during the Vietnam War, stationed in Korea. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed spending his free time tying flies and fly fishing at Roaring River State Park in Missouri.
CJ is preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Virginia, and is survived by his wife, Vicki Rogers Crosetto, daughter Stacie Crosetto Flood and husband Drew, son Andrew Crosetto and wife Heidi, four grandchildren, Courtney Crosetto, Colin Flood, Laurel Crosetto Garcia, and Joseph Crosetto, and great-granddaughter Skylar Kropetz. CJ is also survived by his brother, Larry Crosetto and wife Mary of Coffeyville, Kansas, as well as his sister Nancy Crosetto Golden and husband Howard of Pembroke Pines, Florida, and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at 2 pm at Earthman Funeral Home in Stafford, Texas, with a private graveside service at the Houston National Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Heart Association or other charitable organizations.
