Barbara Kline was born on May 10, 1936 in Lakewood, Ohio. She was the firstborn daughter of Cora and Bud Kline. She remained in Bay Village until she graduated from Bay High School, the same high school her parents had graduated from. She went to work for Eastern Airlines in 1954 and continued working for them for 5 years after the airline’s merger with Continental Airlines. She worked in operations, the ticket counter, reservations, VIP relations, food services, and was a flight attendant. She lived in Rocky River, Ohio, New Orleans, Houston, Chicago, Atlanta, and Montreal while working for Eastern. Upon retiring she moved to Ellijay, GA in the foothills of the Smokey Mountains. While there she sold antiques, worked for a veterinarian, and food services at Blue Ridge Hospital. While working in the hospital, she spent her free time holding the babies in the nursery. While there she met a beautiful little lady named Mystical Hope. Since her birth mother could not care for her, Barbara became her foster parent for the next 3 years and then adopted her in 2005. Mysti and Barbara moved to Missouri City in 2006. She died on April 29, 2018. She is survived by her sister, Cherie Kiernan, brother in law, Colin M. Kiernan, and daughter, Mysti Kline. She has 3 nephews, Colin A. Kiernan, Shawn P. Kiernan, and Brendan K. Kiernan and their wives Sarah, Stacy, and Alex.
