Passed away on October 7, 2014. Retired after 42 years with Northern Pacific / Burlington Northern Railroad. A private man who enjoyed being with family, especially at the cabin in Webster, WI. He was a wonderful man who will be greatly missed by family & friends. He was preceded in death by his Infant Son, Michael Patrick & Siblings, Milton Witzmann, Josephine Bongiovanni, & Father Hugh Witzmann, OSB. Otto is survived by his Wife of 63 years, Patricia (nee Meyer); 6 Children, Bonnie Bigelbach (Jim), Jeffrey Witzmann (Kathleen), Jill Hamburger (John), Lori Wagener (Terry), Tami Auerbach (Don Krause) & Benet Witzmann (Jennifer); 16 Grandchildren & 3 Great-Grandchildren; Sisters, Sr. Clare Witzmann, OSB & Julia Piechowski; Brother, Bernard Witzmann (Sandy); Sister-in-Law, Delores Witzmann; Many Nieces, Nephews, Extended Family & Friends. Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM on Tuesday, October 14 at Church of St. John, 380 Little Canada Road, Little Canada. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Visitations are 1 hour prior to Mass at church & on Monday, October 13 from 4 – 7 PM, at Wulff Funeral Home, 1485 White Bear Ave, St. Paul. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Church of St. John – Little Canada, Sisters of St. Benedict in St. Joseph MN or Union Gospel Mission.
