Joseph Richard Moreno

Survived by loving wife of nearly 50 years, Jeanine; three children: Joe (Laura), Jeana (Dan), and Annalisha (Carlos); eight grandchildren: Victoria, Tyra, JJ, Samantha, Alex, Nico, Sophia, and Tino; brother, Tony; and his two dogs, Coco and Nala. Preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Ruby Moreno.

Joe loved playing his guitar, watching football and other sports, reading the newspapers, dining out with his wife, and exploring new stores. He was very generous by donating to the community and giving blood when he was able. He enjoyed talking politics and proving his point. Joe had a great sense of humor. You never knew what kind of message you would hear on the answering machine or what joke he would have to share. He took great pleasure in working part-time at "Bird, Bath and Beyond" or as we know it Bed, Bath and Beyond. He had a knack for mispronouncing the most common words that would make his family crack up. To say he had a sweet-tooth is an understatement. Lunch was often a slice of pie or apple turnover with a cup of coffee. He had a love for spicy food - even putting hot sauce on his pancakes. Dinner almost always included a cold beer or glass of wine. But, most of all he loved his family and spending time with them.

Joe faced many health challenges over the years and utilized more than nine lives. He was determined, stubborn, tough, and faced every challenge head-on. He had so much life to live but God had other plans.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 1, 2022 from 4-8:00pm. Funeral service will be Friday, December 2, 2022 at 11:00am, visitation beginning at 10:00am all at Wulff Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
