Helen Elaine Godbout

Helen was a loving wife, mom, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved to bake for all, was a Eucharistic minister at Presentation church and a Volunteer at Woodwinds hospital. She was also a proud past president of the Hill H.S. Mother’s club and retired from 3M in 1988.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband Jack, son Ed, son-in-law Bill Graffunder, grandson-in-law Joe Takkunen, parents Bill and Lee Peters, Wilfred and Edna Godbout, brother Richard Peters, and friend Vern Radke.

She is survived by children Elaine Graffunder, Ken Godbout (Debbie), Tom Godbout (Donna), Nancy Hafner (Dean); grandchildren Jessica Borowski, Joe Borowski (Dani), Brent Godbout (Jen), Jason Godbout (Renee), Jen Godbout (Tim), John Godbout, Michael Godbout (Mary), Elyse Takkunen, Emilee Fernandez (Leo), Josh Godbout (Suzy Sundberg); Great grandchildren; Larissa, Isaiah, Hannah, Taylor, Jake, Luke, Dylan, Olivia, Gavin, Jackson, David, Thomas, Micaela and many nieces and nephews.

A special thank you to her amazing caregiver Sheila Priebe, the staff at Oak Meadows Senior Living, and Health Partners Hospice.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Sept 18th, 11am, with visitation at 10am at The Church of the Presentation of the BVM, 1725 Kennard St., St. Paul.
