Born June 4th, 1934 to Phillip and Jeanette Lombardi, Carole grew up on St. Paul’s Eastside and attended Johnson High School where she found her soulmate, Richard (Dick) Reitzel. They were married for over 70 years! A true testimony to lifelong commitment and the power of love.
With her sister, Marlene (Policano), Carole carried on her Grandma Rosie’s entrepreneurial spirit and built a successful business, Park Gift Center, where she enjoyed many lifelong friendships. Carole loved reading, spending time with her grandchildren, and volunteering at Transfiguration Elementary School. She carried on her Italian family traditions including making an incredible spaghetti sauce and a mean bocce ball roll. Above all else, she was strong in her faith. Her family will miss her dearly but hold her forever in their hearts. 14 Hugs and 14 Kisses.
