James D Murdock

James was born April 11, 1923 in Dubois, Pennsylvania and passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2011 at the Southwest Louisiana War Veterans Home in Jennings.

James was a veteran of the Unite States Armed Forces and served in the Navy during WWII and the Army during the Korean Conflict.

He is survived by his children, Shirley Domingue (Chuck) of Lafayette, Larry James Murdock of St. Martinville, Nancy Menard (Dudley) of Broussard, Sandra Frith (Robbie) of St. Martniville, Thomas S. Murdock (Vicki) of New Iberia, and Michael Ray “Moss” Murdock (Carolyn) of St. Martinville; ten grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ione Moss Murdock; a daughter and son, Rosemarie Murdock and Charles Edward Murdock; parents, Roger Murdock and Carrie Hughes Murdock; and his brothers and sisters.
