After an extended battle with lung cancer, Friday February 28, 2014. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Virginia Porter (nee Gutierrez); dear uncle , great uncle, brother-in-law, cousin, and friend to far too many to list individually.
Bill Served in World War II in the Merchant Marines and also in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He remained active in their veteran Organizations.
Funeral Service Thursday March 6, 2014, 10:00 a.m. at the HOFFMEISTER SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL , 1515 Lemay Ferry Rd, , Saint Louis, Mo 63125.Interment Nation Cemetery Jefferson Barracks, Mo with full Military Honors.
