She was married to the late William French Jr on June 2 2001. She was a member of the New Life Christian Fellowship of Granite City IL. She was a member of the Continental Bakers Union Local 4. She worked at Hostess Bakery on North Broadway for 20 plus years. She was a lovely mother of two daughters Michelle (Mike) Rouse of Arbyrd, Mo., and Kimberly (John) Stell of Belleville IL. and four step-children from marriage, Michelle French, Deanna (Bob) Breese, William French III and Brian French. Fourteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters Jeanette Hagy of Dexter MO., Zelda May Muncher of Granite City IL, Robert Williamson of St. Louis Mo. and Ervin Williamson of Piedmont, Mo. She was preceded in death by her husband William French Jr., and her parents Eugene and Rosalee Williamson; brothers Doug Allen, Edward Williamson; sisters Jacqueline Hagy, Rosetta Parris, and Alice Mabe; and one granddaughter Kailyn Kimberly Ann Lewis. Her hobby was spending time with her family and friends and her favorite place to be was at Bingo whenever you called and ask for her Bill told you she was at her second home. There was not ever a heart she did not touch; she loved all as family even if they was just friends. If you ever knew her she never told you she loved you. She always said DITTO. So as we say our last good byes for now it is WHEN WE MEET AGAIN, fly high with the Angels and remember all the memories we shared. DITTO forever.
A funeral service will be held at 11 am Wednesday, May 23, at Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, Mo. 63125. Interment will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery. Visitation is at the funeral home from 4-8 pm Tuesday, May 22, and on Wednesday from 10 am until the time of service.
