Mrs. Finch – “Aunt Olie” to her family and “Vi” to her friends – was a parishioner at St. Bernadette Catholic Church. She worked as a legal secretary for many years with Greensfelder, Hemker & Gale, P.C. before retiring, and was an avid golfer and member of Sherwood Country Club.
Viola enjoyed watching St. Louis Cardinals baseball, St. Louis Blues Hockey and playing poker at family gatherings. She loved golfing with her friends and gambling at the casinos with her companion, Jim Riley. Throughout her life she enjoyed the companionship of her pets, especially her dachshunds, Peggy & Liebchen, and her cat, Shadow.
Viola’s family is deeply indebted to Sandy Gray for her tireless attention to and loving caretaking of Aunt Olie over the last five years.
