Shawn was a graduate of the University of Texas-Dallas, and spent 38 years in the mortgage banking industry. Upon his retirement, he became an elementary school teacher at Mullanphy School where he was beloved by his students and faculty. His face would beam with pride and love when he told stories of his students and their achievements.
Shawn was devoted and deeply loving grandfather. Nothing gave "Bobo" greater joy than to spend time with "Coco" and "Butters" even if it was only Facetime, it was special just to hear their voices and watch them grow.
Shawn was a member of Christ Church Cathedral, the Cathedral of the Episcopal Diocese of Missouri in downtown Saint Louis.
Shawn was a die hard sports fan and followed any sport with a commentator. He was funny, sarcastic, very generous, an avid reader of all literature, and was very willing to do the dishes after Tim cooked the meal. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
