She was a graduate of Cleveland High School and had the pleasure of experiencing many places throughout her life as a resident of Nebraska, Colorado, Pennsylvania, Oklahoma, and Kansas, before moving back to Missouri.
Sandy had a beautiful relationship with God and was an avid bird watcher, having nearly ten feeders in the yard where she could enjoy the Cardinals and Hummingbirds. She took great pleasure in gardening, coloring, painting, shopping, watching old movies, and spending time with her son, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She is survived by her son, James Hottovy, and grandchildren, Jordan and Logan Hottovy. Dearest sibling of Marilyn Leftridge, Darlene Blacksher, Trisha Toile, Tippy Steevens, Brenda Sharp, Paul “Corky” Presson, and Helen Clover. Preceded in death by her mother, father, and loving siblings, Sherry Ulrich, Peggy Ross, and Larry Presson. Beloved aunt and honorary grandmother to numerous nieces and nephews, and a friend to many.
Family, friends,and others whose lives Sandy has touched,are invited to Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis MO, 63125, on November 1, 2024, for a Celebration of Life.
Reception at 9 a.m. followed immediately by service at 11.
