Renee Veir Hilz

Beloved wife for 48 years of Michael P. Hilz; dear mother of, two joys of her heart, Kristin (Greg) Campanella and Matthew Veir Hilz; dearest grandmother of Gabriella, Anthony, Matthew Jr., Daniel, Abigail and Alexander; dear sister of Carole (Jerry) Johnson of Ottawa, IL and Charles (Sue) Veir of Norfolk, VA; dear sister-in-law of Walter (Marlene) Hilz of North Port, FL and Julie Hilz of Venice, FL; Renee was the dearest friend of Verena and Edward Hambach and their children Christina (Harry) Harisberger and Andrea (David) Johnston.

Forever 23 and continually active at a gym, pilates, and/or 3 mile daily walks, Renee maintained an everlasting devotion and attention to her children and grandchildren. Cooking was her passion; clearly in evidence with her wide collection of cookbooks, kitchen equipment, implements, and gadgets; but especially evident with her well fed family and friends.

SERVICES: Memorial visitation from 9:30 am until time of Mass at 10:30 am on Monday, March 13 at Our Lady of the Pillar Church, 401 S. Lindbergh Blvd.

Following Mass a reception will be held in the Church Hall.
