Paul Vincent Noonan

Paul Vincent Noonan was born in Santa Ana, California, on December 1, 1956. He attended public schools in Garden Grove where he graduated from High school in 1975. Through high school, Paul was active in Boy Scouts and always looked forward to the summer camps. Paul kept in contact with his scout leader throughout his life. Paul was particularly enthusiastic about going to the movies. He had an amazing memory for movies, actors and the stories told. He worked as a dispatcher for a towing company, taking reservations for a major hotel chain, then at another call center. He kept in contact with friends and family by phone calls, cards, and, when possible, in person. After living in California for many years, he returned to the St. Louis area to help his mother, Marian and his Uncle Charles. Paul was preceded in death by his mother, Marian Bruegger and father, Dwayne “Duke” Noonan, and his aunts and uncles. Family was always important to Paul, and several close friends were like family.

Paul is survived by his stepmother, Betty Noonan, step brother Scott Merrell, stepsister Robin(David) Palmerston(and children Ryan, Mark, Cerise, and Jeremiah), stepsister Patti Hamstra, good friends Patti Schnieders, Chris Madden, Carrie Mayer, cousin David Schwartz and other cousins and friends in California, North Carolina, and Missouri.

Visitation will be from 4-8 pm, Wednesday, January 24, at Hoffmeister South County Chapel. 1515 Lemay Ferry Rd. St Louis, Mo. Private interment will be held later at Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery in St. Louis. Memorial contributions in Paul‘s name may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
