Born March 1, 1921 in Shamrock, Texas to Charles and Susie (nee' Gragg) Hicks. Beloved husband of the late June (nee' Gomez) Hicks and the late Ella Pearl (nee’ Henderson) Hicks; loving father of Dan (Rose) and Joe (Janice) Hicks, and the late Beth (the late Don) Hagglebergh, the late Jerry lee (Betty) Henderson, Sharon (Ken) Fortner, Rod (Karen) Johnson, Marilyn (Gary) Liptrot, James (Marilyn) Johnson, and William (Karen) Johnson; grandfather of 29, great-grandfather of 49, 33 great-great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-great-grandchildren; uncle, cousin, and friend to many.
Funeral service at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints , 4511 Butler Hill Road, Saint Louis, Missouri 63128 on Friday June 9, at 11am. Burial at Park Grove Cemetery in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma on Monday June 19 at 1pm.
