Ilkeston, Darbyshire, UK and passed away at this home in Osage Beach Missouri on Monday,
October 19, 2020 with his loving family by his side.
Beloved husband of Karen Robinson (nee: Tretter) of Osage Beach, Missouri.
Loving father of Leah Francis of Bishops Stortford, UK (husband Alex and grandchildren
Harry, George and Edward; and father of Kay Cerrato of Fort Walton Beach, Florida
(husband Tony, grandchildren Mia and Leo.)
Dear brother of Colin (Glenise) of Blenheim, Ontario, Canada and the
late Joy (husband Malcomb survives) Hughes of Ilkeston.
As a teenager Neil worked in a textile factory maintaining sewing machines.
He enlisted in the Royal Air Force at 18 and retired as a senior sergeant after 23 years.
He later worked for GEC Marconi and BAe Systems as the head of weapons integration
for the Brimstone Missile Program and later worked as the UK Weapons Integration
Lead on the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter Program at Lockheed Martin in Fort Worth, Texas.
In 2007, he quit the defense industry to purchase a resort at the Lake of the Ozarks,
which he and his wife owned until 2017.
Neil was a lifelong member of the Academy of Model Aeronautics.. He was a World
Record Holder of 24 hours of continuous Clay Shooting in observance of the 50th
Anniversary of the Battle of Britain, Neil became a US citizen in 2013.
