Nancy Mae (nee Long) Mueller

Mueller, Nancy Mae (nee Long) fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family. Nancy was born on April 17, 1931 to James T. and Genevieve Hirst Long. Beloved wife for 38 years of the late Donald G. Mueller, Sr. Loving mother of Donald, Jr. (Linda), Anne (Everett III) Lewis, Nancy, Tod (Mary), Regina Portnoy, Pat Williams, Susan (Leo) Bub, Kathy (Kurt) Piening, Barbara (Rod) Jacoby, and Mark (Donna) Mueller; loving grandmother of Kristin, Carolyn and Nancy Mueller, Everett Lewis, IV, Hunter Mueller, Katie, Danny, Steven Portnoy, Mary, Jenny, Michael, Colleen Williams, Ryan, Andrew, Sarah, Julia Bub, Kurt Jr., Nick, Alex, Cole, Eric Piening, Justin, Trent, Corinne Jacoby, Grace, Donny and Sophia Mueller; dearest great grandmother of Isabella, Connor and Mason Croce, Jack and Adelaide Kelly, Henry, Nellie and Finn McClain, Audrey and Thea Piening, and Kian Schober. Loving sister, sister-in-law, aunt, cousin, and friend to many.

Nancy attended St. Luke’s grade school, graduated from St. Joseph’s Academy, and attended Fontbonne College. Following school she taught grade school at St. Luke’s the Evangelist until her marriage to Don in 1954. She then devoted her life to raising her 10 children, volunteering at Little Flower Parish and at St. Mary’s Hospital. Nancy lived her life graciously showing love and kindness to all she met, which will remain her legacy.

Services: Visitation at Little Flower Catholic Church, 1264 Arch Terrrace, 63117, on Friday, January 20, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, January 21, at 11:00 am, Little Flower Catholic Church. Interment Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
