It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Dr. Morton “Morty” Green MD on November 23, 2024.
Loving husband to the late Joyce “Toodles” Green; beloved father and father-in-law of Michael (Liane) Green; adored grandfather of Jordyn and Kai Green; dearest brother of Dr. Kenneth (Arlene) Green MD; uncle of Julie (David) Marcus, Bill Green, Marci Green and John (Anthony) Green; brother-in-law of Joan Glassman and dear family friend of Bette Greenblatt. Morton was preceded in death by his parents Min and Mannie Green and his in-laws, the late Ben and Carolyn Glassman. Dr. Morton Green will be remembered for his kindness, strength, passions and devotion to family.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Congregation Temple Israel, #1 Rabbi Alvan D. Rubin Drive, St. Louis, MO 63141. Visitation begins at 9:30 AM. Interment follows at New Mt. Sinai Cemetery, 8430 Gravois, St. Louis, MO 63123.
In lieu of flowers, contributions are preferred to Tunnel to Towers Foundation (T2T.org) in Dr. Morton R. Green’s honor.
