24, 1948, in St. Louis, Missouri.
Millie is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Erskine Oglesby, Sr.; sisters, Minnie
Houston, Jacqueline Rogers, Katherine Rogers-Banks, and Tommie Fields; and
grandsons, Brennan Batchman and Bryce Sigur.
Millie was a beacon of light to many with her caring ways and heart of servitude. She
was always there to help those in need with a listening ear, kind words,
encouragement, and support. Millie was a friend to all and made everyone feel special
with her terms of endearment - sugar pie and ladybug. Her love for drama and mystery
made watching Lifetime Movie Network and Investigation Discovery her favorite
pastime. She also enjoyed staying connected to family and friends with daily phone
chats. Millie displayed her dedicated and loyal spirit throughout her career as an office
assistant in telecommunications for over 30 years. Her handy-dandy skills and astute
problem-solving made her the go-to fix-it person. Millie's selfless acts of love create a
legacy that will extend beyond her lifetime. We will forever remember her contagious
smile, laughter, and giving heart.
Millie leaves to cherish her memory: sister, Betty Hatter (Leon); brother, William Rogers
(Cynthia); former spouse: Michael Batchman, Sr.; son, Michael Batchman, Jr.; daughter,
Marnice Sigur (Keith); grandchildren, Cameren Rivers-Batchman, Morgan Sigur, Taylor
Hatcher (Nathaniel), Melissa Batchman, and Lauren Sigur; and a host of nieces,
nephews, cousins, and friends.
