Mrs. Grellner, To this day, you have always had a special place in my heart!  Favorite teacher of all time!  We continue to tell stories of u!  The world is missing one of the  best humans ever!  Think of u often!  U are truly missed but never forgotten.

I am so sorry to hear about Laura.  I am just finding this out today.  I am literally in shock.  Laura was such a sweet fantastic woman. Our granddaughter, Jordan, was fortunate to be in Mrs. Grellner's pre-school class a few years ago. Mrs. Grellner lit up the room with her sparkling eyes, unforgetable smile and remarkable personality. She touched the lives of "her kids" in a way noone else could. We are so blessed to have had such a wonderful caregiver and teacher for our children. Dear Grellner Family,
I am mourning with you from far away and unfortunately cannot get home to honor Laura's wonderful gift to all of us who had the privilege of working with her at Valley Park Elementary School.  I will remember Laura as a person filled with love, compassion, and understanding.  She was the "first formal teacher" of so many children in the community and gave them such a wonderful and compassionate beginning in their formal education.  Laura's recent battle with breast cancer taught me how to remain positive and provide a light to others despite great personal changes.  Her passing leaves me wondering how such a wonderful person could be called home to God so early in her life of giving to others?  Please know I have offered many prayers for Laura and your family the last few days.

To Tom, Charlie, Sarah, Linda and all who loved and were loved by Laura,

Laura and I worked together for a time at the Maplewood Library. I feel lucky to have had the chance to know Laura as a friend. I will miss her so very much.
