Beloved wife of Arthur Huey; dear mother of Janet (Steve) Walter, Robert (Carly), Melinda (Randall) Etnyre, and Scott (Stacie) Huey; dear grandmother of Lucy, Reagan, Katie, Cole, Kendall, Jocelyn, Allison, Natalie, Savannah, and Olivia; dear sister of Janet (Al) Paulikas, Robert (Donna), and Ralph (Kathy) Scafuri.
Joan was raised in Birmingham, MI and a graduate of Michigan State. She was married 50+ years to Arthur, residing in St. Louis, MO since 1970. A devoted homemaker and avid tennis player who loved the outdoors. Her true passion was nurturing and educating children. Her career at the West County YMCA ECC spanned over 20 years. Joan was a kind human spirit with a bright sense of humor and a contagious smile. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
