Jean Annabelle Bacher Maloney (nee Holaus), Fortified with the Sacraments of the Holy Mother Church, passed away, Thursday, December 12, 2019. Beloved wife of William M. Maloney and the late Robert Bacher Sr.; loving mother of Robert (Patti) Bacher Jr. and the late Denice (Craig) Caldwell and the late Victoria Kennedy; loving grandmother of Natalie Greene, Caitlin Caldwell, Ryan Bacher and Jessica DeStefano; great grandmother of Bradley Bacher, Robert Greene, Leo DeStefano, Brady Scarbrough and Joseph DeStefano and dear friend to many more.
Our Beloved Jean was a Devout Catholic. She volunteered for many years in the Church. She loved making Rosaries.
She traveled the world with her 3 children and husband. Including a special trip, going from New York to Germany on the Original Queen Elizabeth, passing the Queen Mary in mid-ocean. They lived in Germany for a year.
She acted in movies such as the Gauntlet, To Find My Son, Speed Trap and Love & Bullets. She did lots of TV commercials, like for Valley National Bank , Coors Beer, and not to mentioned all the modeling, billboard ads and many more advertisements.
A Stunning Beauty, for sure.
A truly beautiful wife, devoted to her husband Robert C. Bacher Sr. They met when she was 14. After high school they married, until his unexpected death at age 55. A true love story.
As luck would have it for her, she met her 2nd husband, William M. Maloney at their 40th year class reunion. They were King and Queen in their Sophomore year. After dating 1 year and 6 months they fell in love and married. They had a wonderful marriage for 26 years. And they continued to travel, all around the US and Canada.
A Fantastic homemaker. Inspired by her Father Leo, Hungarian, and her Father in Law, being Swiss Italian. She taught herself to cook with a European/American flair. And oh what a cook, she was. She had grandiose, formal parties everyone wanted to attend.
A wonderful, loving Mother. She so loved her children, Denice, Victoria, and Bobby. She did everything they wanted for extra curricular activities. Always running here and there. She smiled with pride as they all succeeded. She was always very devoted to her children.
And as Grandmother and Great Grandmother. Well, she was absolutely Fantastic. She loved each one of them with a special place in her heart. And they loved her so much, too. They all stayed in close contact with her. She decided to moved home to MO, from AZ 2 years ago. She wanted to be back where she started and this is where she wanted to end up. She is now home.
