Jacob Paul Sheaffer

He was born in Wood River, IL on June 7, 1931, to the late Paul and Martha (nee Wheeler) Sheaffer; beloved husband of Edith M. Sheaffer (nee Winingar); loving father of Debra (Rick) Townsand; dear grandfather of Dianna Townsand and Danna Townsand; dear brother of Betty Pounds, Freda E. Lawrence and the late Laura Titsworth, Fannie Howland and Mabel Pounds; dear uncle and friend to many.

Jacob was a member of Parkton Assembly of God Church, Arnold VFW Post 2593, and the American Legion 910, Imperial, MO.

A visitation for Jacob will be held Wednesday, February 7, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, MO 63125.

Funeral service will be celebrated 1:00 pm in the funeral home chapel.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jacob's memory to ASPCA or The Humane Society would be appreciated.
