Irvin Davis

Beloved husband of the late Adrienne Bronstein Davis; dear father of Jennifer Davis Jermak, Judy Slavin, and Cathy Slavin; dear grandfather of Austin and Samantha Jermak, Woody Metcalf, and Kelly Slavin; dear son of the late Julius Davis and the late Anna Rosen Davis; dear brother of the late Samuel Davis, the late George Davis, the late Esther Davis, and the late Jackie Davis; loving companion of Susan Thurmond; our dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and friend.

Irvin was the Chairman of the Board of Clayton-Davis & Associates, Inc.. He also was an active owner of several radio stations and involved in real estate development and investment. An Army Air Force infantryman in WWII, Irvin returned to St. Louis, completed his undergraduate and graduate education at Washington University and St. Louis University. His career quickly evolved into writing for, producing and directing television and in 1953, he opened Clayton-Davis, a full circle Public Relations and Advertising firm. He was the recipient of almost every major, local and national award given in the fields of film, radio, television, public relations and advertising. Irvin has been honored by many philanthropic organizations for his public service activities, as well.

Funeral service Monday, December 18th, 2 PM at Congregation Temple Israel, #1 Alvan D. Rubin Drive, 63141. No visitation prior to the funeral service. Private family interment. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions preferred to the National Kidney Foundation,10803 Olive Blvd, Saint Louis, MO 63141 or the charity of your choice.
