Frank P. Vitello

VITELLO, Frank P., 84, Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Tuesday, March 19, 2013. Former husband of Lee (nee DiMaria) Vitello; loving father of Christine (Jay Buehrer) Vitello, Catherine Callico, Jackie Boudreaux, and Marianne (John) Hart, and the late Patricia Vitello; dear grandfather of Anthony Callico and Andrea (Dan) Pietroburgo: Stephanie Laughlin and Lisa (John) Rois; and Jack and Brooke Hart; great grandfather of Kennedy Mitchell; dear brother of Phillip (Jean) Vitello, Paul (the late Betty) Vitello, and the late Boniface Vitello, Rose Swatske, and Florence Vitello; dear brother-in-law of Alice Vitello and Frank Swatske; dear uncle, cousin, and friend to many.

A US Air Force Veteran, Frank was also a member of the Commemorative Air Force and the St. Louis American-Italian Bocce Club. He retired from McDonnell-Douglas after 40years of service as an aircraft mechanic having worked on the Mercury Freedom Seven and Gemini Projects. The family is ever grateful to BJC Hospice for their loving care.

SERVICES: Visitation 4-8pm Friday, March 22, 2013 at HOFFMEISTER COLONIAL MORTUARY 6464 Chippewa at Watson. Funeral Mass 10am Saturday, March 23, 2013 from St. Ambrose Catholic Church 5130 Wilson Interment Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
