Dolores Lorraine Reed

Dolores L. Reed (nee Tochtrop) of St. Louis, MO passed away on Tuesday August 11, 2020. She was born on February 5, 1928 in O'Fallon, MO. to the late Joseph and Salome (nee Griesenauer) Tochtrop. Beloved wife of the late William Hugh Reed; loving mother of Steven Hugh (Debbie) Reed, Thomas Joseph (Sheryl) Reed, Edward William (Sherry) and William Hugh (Christi) Reed II; loving grandmother of Ryan (Aysenur) Reed, Shannon (Alex) Iosevich, Adam (Grace Shim) Reed, Lisa (Dustin) Wall, Angela (John) Hime, John (Sarah McKinney) Reed, Sarah (Steven Sheppard) Reed, Quintin (Maureen) Reed, Samuel Reed, Suzanne Reed and Benjamin Reed; great grandmother of Simon Iosevich, Jack and Ellie Hime, Isla, Ausby and Echo Wall, Zoe and Ivy Sheppard; dear sister of Marcey Trautman and the late Earl Tochtrop, Mel Tochtrop, Phillip Tochtrop, Viola Williams, Marie Oge. dear aunt, cousin and friend to many.

Dolores was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved to dance and listen to Big Band Music. She was a volunteer for meals on wheels and a loyal customer to the world renowned Donut Stop on Lemay Ferry Rd. But most of all she loved the Cardinals and was a devoted fan, never missed watching the games on TV. and Stan Musial was "her man".

Visitation will be held on Thursday August 13, 2020 from 4-8 pm at the Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Rd. St. Louis, MO. Funeral service Friday August 14, 2020, 1pm at the funeral home chapel. Services will conclude at the funeral home with a private interment at a later date.
