McCALL Danny Lee “Gunny”, 67, of St. Louis, on Thursday, August 21, 2014. Father of Tammy Gilbert and Scott McCall; loving brother of Nelma Bradshaw, Carol (Greg) Aldridge, Stella Sullivan, the late Jerry McCall, the late Judy Burkett and the late Virgil McCall; dear uncle, cousin, and great friend of many.
Gunny was a proud retired Marine Corps Gunnery Sergeant. He was also a Vietnam Veteran. After his retirement from the Corps, he continued to serve his Country and other veterans working at Jefferson Barracks. He was a member of VFW Post 2593 and a life member of American Legion Post 47. In his free time he enjoyed fishing, watching the Cardinals and especially hanging out with Dennis and his many other good friends.
SERVICES Visitation 4-8 p.m. Friday, August 29, 2014 at Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Rd., Lemay, MO 63125. Memorial Service 11 a.m. Saturday, August 30, 2014 at Hoffmeister South County Chapel. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery with full military honors. Arrangements under the direction of Hoffmeister South County Chapel, Saint Louis, MO.
