CHRISTINE ELIZABETH ADAMS, 69, fortified with the Last Rites of Holy Mother Church, died peacefully at home on Saturday, February 19, 2022, after a lengthy illness. Christy was born on November 20, 1952, in St. Louis, grew up in Des Peres, graduated from Nerinx Hall in 1970, Spring Hill College in 1974, and pursued Advanced French Studies at Laval University in Québec, Canada. In later years, she loved co-managing with her mother the family business, Margaret’s Inc. in Clayton, and continued in retailing after the business closed in 2014. Christy was an elegant lady, who loved her family, travelling, and her Irish Catholic heritage. She especially loved the volunteer work she did with both the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra and the Junior League. Christy felt humbled and greatly honored to be chosen as the recipient of the Drue Lane Webster Volunteer Service Award bestowed in 2018 by the Junior League. Christy was predeceased by her parents, William R. Adams and Ellen H. Adams. She is survived by her siblings, Michael W. Adams (Shari), Mary Ellen Schutt (Thomas R.), and William K. Adams (Carmen Bingesser); nieces Stefanie Saric (Dennis), Nicole Murphy (Sean), and nephew Thomas D. Schutt; cousins Deborah Hynes Schallom (Lawrence), John F. Hynes III, Mary Margaret (Adams) Coran, Mark Adams (Margo), Julie A. Trout (the late Terry) and Patricia A. Flood. “Good night, sweet
