I was very shocked to here the news about Brian. I met Brian while attending Washington Unversity where I got to know him well since we worked in the same field. He was my electrical engineering buddy who helped me pass circuits class. I had lunch with Brian in July 2021, first time I had spoken with him in about 5 years, and it was good to see him and catch up of life, family, and engineering. My heart goes out to his family and his kids.

Oh my gosh, I'm shocked to hear the news.  Brian was a great customer and business associate for at least 20 of my years in St. Louis.  Always welcoming and willing to spend a few minutes of his day to share what's new.  I loved sitting down with Brian on business or personal time and learning more of his life and passions.  What a tremendous person, and will be missed!  I'm so sorry family for your loss.  May God wrap his arms around you and comfort you through this difficult time.  God speed Brian, and may you rest in peace my friend.

Brian was one of my first managers when I entered the workforce. He had his own style that he owned, was successful with,  and I’m certain can’t be duplicated. He taught me many basic electrical engineering principles on a marker board in the conference room that I still have photos of.  I recall appreciating him taking the time out of his busy work day to break the basics down. I since left the company but ran into him at a Happy Hour over the Summer of 2021. I’m happy to say my last memory with Brian was over a beer with giving each other the hardest of times, while ending it with the cheesiest smiles and a handshake.  Rest In Peace, Brian. 

Karen, Kelly, Steve, I am so sorry to hear about Brian passing.  I still picture him, around 1994, with the huge smile on his face in his new Mustang.

Brian was the only other Braves fan in the Farnsworth St. Louis office.  Amongst the many Cardinals fans and a few Cubs fans, we were constantly talking Atlanta Braves baseball.  We were both excited to watch the playoff run on their way to a World Series Championship this year.  His passing has saddened those of us who expect him to pop his head into our office or over our cube to check-in daily.  He’ll be missed greatly in many ways around our office, but I’ll especially miss our comradery around the Braves. 

To his family, I’m sincerely sorry for your loss.  Please know that Brian was a great person to work with, and daily, he would bring a smile to many faces.


Wow what a shock to hear about Brian!  Brian was always my go to electrical guy when working on projects at Marathon.  He helped pull a few rabbits out of the hat for me!   I always remembered Brian as fun loving and joking but taking his work and job seriously. I really liked working with Brian and will miss him.  Real shock and my condolences to his immediate family and his extended work family.  

Brian was our group leader, he hired me almost 6 years ago (seems like yesterday). He was very passionate about his work, very dedicated and knowledgeable. I learned a lot from him in my first few years working directly with him on many projects.

He loved his daughters the most and after that work was his second love. He will be missed.

One thing that we never came to agree was that who is better Cardinals or Braves, but i am glad that Braves won the World Series this year and Brian was able to enjoy that.

To his family, especially his daughters- I am extremely sorry for your loss. I hope you can find strength and some peace in the following days, weeks, and years. 

Brian was my manager for my entire career at Farnsworth group. He was very passionate about his work and particularly the electrical oil and gas group where his legacy will live on. I was proud to have been able to take a photograph with him when he received his 20th anniversary gift from the company. The expression on his face was priceless when I wanted to give him a big hug but settled for a handshake. Only God knows why and when he takes us away from our families. What I do know is that Gods will is sovereign, and we who are left must embrace each other in love and respect. Rest in peace.

My sincerest condolences to Brian's family and especially to his daughters who I imagine will miss him the most.

I will miss Brian also, we worked together quite a bit over the last 3-4 years building the electrical side of wind energy projects and it is hard to imagine not having him to answer questions about electrical matters.  Brian was always there as a go-to for me and my team. He had a wonderful sense of humor and I will miss that also.  He was a great person to know and I am better off having known him.

Brian was an essential part of fgi and an essential friend.  He will be missed.  I'll miss discussing and joking about all our fun projects together.  Brian was so down to earth and such a smart person.  It's a rare combination.  My heart goes out to Brian's family.  He will be missed by all. 

I am going to miss many things about Brian. A few things stick out though- he pretty much always had a smile on in front of me, even during tough times. This hit me tonight thinking about him. Lastly, I am going to miss being on Hole 19 of the annual work golf outing and seeing Brian attempt shots down the fairway / on the green of 18, always wearing two black golf gloves. He was one of a kind and had such a great sense of humor for the relentless trouble he took on this subject.

To his family, especially his daughters- I am extremely sorry for your loss. I hope you can find strength and some peace in the following days, weeks, and years.

I met Brian in 1999 when I first started at Avanti Technologies and then at Farnsworth Group.  He always had a smile on his face and very dedicated in his work.  He was great to work with and will be greatly missed.  I send my prayers out to his girls and his family.

I am so sorry to hear about Brian's passing.  I met Brian at Avanti Technologies when I first arrived in St Louis.  I remember Brian as a kind and intelligent colleague and great to be around.  We subsequently kept in touch professionally from time to time and I will  miss our infrequent but candid conversations on many subjects including his beloved Ford Mustang.

Brian was one of the first people to welcome me at Farnsworth when I first joined in 2002 and was instrumental in helping me feel at home there and in St. Louis. Some of the funniest and most memorable things that happened in my life when first coming to the city involved times running around with Brian. Although he and I did not stay close friends over the years, we still had lunch from time to time.

Brian was one of our office's most proactive marketers and team cheerleader, fiercely loyal to his team and his principles. If you ever did anything to affect his revenue or not set his team up for success, you heard about it! I always enjoyed sharing team motivation and strategy philosophies with him. We were very much on different ends of the spectrum when it came to some topics but he was able to have a balanced conversation.

Until it came to the Atlanta Braves, of course. The infamous infield fly wild card game between the Braves and the Cardinals was always the first arrow out of my quiver if I needed to disengage Brian from an argument with me, and we all heard about it when the Braves won the big one recently. I'm glad he got to witness that before he passed.

Brian's passing was a huge surprise and shock to all of us. Please remember that our time on Earth is short and today's conversation near the coffee pot may be the last. I wish that some of the final interactions I had with Brian were more thoughtful. Be kind to people you consider your friends every day, whether they be at work or elsewhere.

I am so sorry to hear of Brian's passing.  He had been working on a project for the last several months in my building and was doing a great job with it! My thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and colleagues at this difficult time. 🙏 

Brian was a consummate professional who fiercely defended the interests of his clients, with an unwavering commitment to the success of the Farnsworth Group. Brian was wholly committed to the safety and well-being of the general public, workers,  contractors and colleagues. Brian consistently challenged those around him, holding them to the highest of standards, always demanding more of himself than of those around him.  Week in and week out, Brian did the work of three, all the while subjecting us to his unique brand of corny, cringy, eye-roll-inducing humor. 

Above all else, Brian was a devoted and loving father to Isabella and Audrey, who brought him such great pride and joy. He will be deeply missed.
